22 years of building a home away from home.
Maharashtra Mandal Perth is a non-profit community organisation established in 2004 to unite Marathi-speaking families in Western Australia. What began as a small gathering of families has grown into a vibrant community of over 300.
Celebrating heritage. Cultivating belonging.
We organise cultural events, festivals and social gatherings that bring families together across Perth.
As a registered non-profit, we are committed to transparency and service. Our all-volunteer committee works throughout the year to ensure every member feels welcomed and valued.
Above all, MMP is a family. And like any family, we grow stronger with each celebration, each conversation, each small act of showing up for one another.
Values that guide everything we do.
Cultural preservation
We preserve and promote Marathi language, arts and traditions for future generations.
Community building
A supportive network where families and individuals connect, share and grow together.
Cultural exchange
Fostering understanding between Maharashtrian heritage and Australian multicultural society.
Volunteer-driven
Everything you see here is built and run by community members who care deeply about the mandal.
